Marilyn is a creative agency in Melbourne. For over 15 years, we’ve used strategy and great design to help brands tell their stories and solve businesses’ stickiest problems.
We like to become a part of the furniture – if your furniture was really clever and went home at the end of every day. We ask a million questions, explore heaps of weird left-turns and float dozens of ideas until we settle on whatever will get your message seen and heard in crowded and noisy markets.
It sounds like a bit of a cliché to say, ‘No two jobs are the same’, but there’s truth to it. We go in fresh to every project, get tactical when deadlines are tight, and dive even deeper when long-term projects are put in front of us. We want you to trust us to get it right, and sometimes that also means trusting us to wander into the edges of your brief and come back with something a bit left-of-centre. Structure and processes get stuff done, and bravery and flexibility make it fun.

Dewberry Is Back
Reintroducing a 90s cult fragrance for a new retail generation.
To relaunch The Body Shop’s cult 90s Dewberry fragrance, we set out to turn nostalgia into retail impact, re-engaging loyal fans while introducing it to a new generation. The challenge was to move beyond sentiment and drive real-world action across stores, social and trial. The campaign delivered, with the product selling out in two weeks, 25M social reach, and strong in-store traffic and event sign-ups.
In-Store Activation & Museum
At the heart of the retail rollout, we made a 90s-inspired “museum” anchored by a physical time capsule at the Emporium flagship. Purple lockers filled with Tamagotchis, Tazos and Polaroids reframed Dewberry as both product and memory trigger. This immersive retail experience drove discovery, nostalgia and in-store engagement and added a focus to the POS design and global campaign concept.
Roller-Rama Event Identity
We extended the campaign in conjunction with Flourish PR to make the Dewberry Roller-Rama, a public skating pop-up designed as both event and trial space. A bespoke identity system spanned rink graphics, uniforms, retail and social, supported by national OOH and flagship window takeovers.
